Annual Meeting headliners include
leader of nation's fourth-largest bank
and the state's four living former governors

We're excited about the impressive lineup of speakers and events planned for NCCBI's historic 60th Annual Meeting on March 20 in Raleigh, and hope that you will be able to attend. Wachovia President and CEO Ken Thompson of Charlotte (left), who leads the nation's fourth-largest bank holding company, will deliver the keynote luncheon speech. The dinner program will feature a roundtable discussion by all four of the state's living former governors -- Jim Holshouser, Jim Hunt, Jim Martin and Bob Scott -- moderated by former UNC President Bill Friday. NCCBI will present its annual Citation for Distinguished Citizenship to James F. Goodmon of Raleigh, the president and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting Co., at the luncheon. The annual Citation for Distinguished Public Service will be presented at the dinner to Russell M. Robinson II of Charlotte, a founding partner in the firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson. The NCCBI EXPO trade show will be twice as large as last year.
